What is Small Business Saturday UK?
Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.
The day itself takes place on the first shopping Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses. In 2015 Small Business Saturday will take place on Saturday, December 5th.
What is happening in Kirkcaldy?
Kirkcaldy 4 All, as the local Business Improvement District, is supporting this campaign in 2015, to help our town centre small businesses. We encourage all small, independent businesses to register for FREE on the Small Business Saturday website, and going to the ‘Get Involved’ section:
https://www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com
Every business in Kirkcaldy that registers to get involved, will get free social media coverage by Kirkcaldy 4 All via a 5 week campaign, whereby we will profile the business and their offer from beginning of November up to 5th December.
Is anything happening on Saturday 5th December?
To celebrate Kirkcaldy supporting this shop local campaign, we will be having street entertainers in the High Street providing some fun and laughter for visitors. Not only will visitors to the Town enjoy a good atmosphere and enjoy some free entertainment, but they can also take advantage of the all the participating businesses offers and promotions, which will be taking place for one day only!
